Trusting God in the Fog

When feel like I can’t see in front of my face, I tend to freeze where I am and cower in stress, worry, and fear. I need to keep walking because I know who walks before me. I know who walks beside me. I know who protects me.

I have to trust my Lord and Savior. He loves me enough that He was tortured and died for me. He loves me enough to leave the gift of the Holy Spirit. The Word of God guides me. The Word of God comforts and heals me.

My heart may cower. My mind may be cluttered. But He sustains me. I’m not looking for my own answers. I am looking for His and He will provide.

Father in Heaven, help me to see You in the Fog. Help me to act out my faith in the fog. Help me trust You in the fog. Help me to be grateful for Your presence in the fog. Please be my compass. Please be my lighthouse. In Jesus’ name, amen.

A follower of Christ trying to do what's right. This is my journey, so far.

How beautiful to be in such a cocoon of protection…
