Challenge Question for Biblical Scholars and the Religious Community

My question directly relates to this piece of scripture of the description of original creation in the beginning.

Genesis 1:29-30(NKJV)

29 And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food. 30 Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food”; and it was so.

In this piece of scripture, there is direct reference to seed bearing herbs as is made for the purposeful intent for the use of consumption as being nutrient for the body.

The marijuana debate has gone on for decades and even longer. Marijuana is in fact referred to as a herb and it does bear seeds. I have prayed for God to show me in scripture where marijuana is referred to as an unclean plant that is not to be partaken from and He keeps bringing me back to this scripture and to what facts are known and understood about marijuana. Scripture clearly states which unclean animals we are not to partake in and many in the religious community partake in the eating of these animals and scripture also discusses which bugs are unclean but, not so much for plant life. In fact scripture encourages the partaking in of much plant life for food.

So my challenge is for any Biblical Scholar or anyone from within the religious communities to bring forth scriptural proof that states we are not to partake in the marijuana plant.

The medical science community has now proven that marijuana oil drops have been life saving for very small children whom suffer seizures and has been successful at giving them the opportunity to have a better quality of life. They have brought forth proof of its healing aspects with cancer patients and various other physical and mental afflictions.

God had me research the hemp plant also and He guided me to an article a couple of years ago were it was stating how planting hemp plants in areas were the soil is contaminated cleanses the soil because the hemp roots that are very strong and durable, have the ability to suck up toxins like those from nuclear waste contamination and purify the soil. I haven’t done more research about this claim but, the concept of what it states makes sense.

I also ask why the religious community supports outlawing and banning anything like this that is of nature and provided by God without first entering into prayer and meditation with God seeking His Divine guidance and wisdom for proper understanding? I have and for 2 years now God keeps bringing me back to this and God is the reason I am bringing forth this challenge question.

I don’t understand why the religious community does not demand the ban of selling pork as scripture defines it as coming from an unclean animal by the description of the hoofs and there is a piece of scriptural story where Jesus led the pigs that took on the unclean spirits to the sea as they just walked right off the cliff and into the sea. Evil spirits will jump into pigs when they need a vessel and it is well-known that pigs eat anything, even a human body and there are stories out there about people disposing of human bodies by feeding them to pigs. So why is the religious community not calling for a ban on the sell of pork?

The challenge question is not only about the issue of the topic, it is a challenge to all seekers of Jesus Christ to seek within their own hearts as to how righteous their walk with Jesus, truly is.

In regards to the topic of the challenge question, Christians have supported laws that have caused people who have lost everything and even have spent time in jail over this issue and many other unjust laws. Christians support this issue and all unjust laws by way of voting at the polls and paying income taxes and that is were all Christians should be questioning if they are truly right with God because God does not support unjust imprisonment or the stealing of the property of people and when the government siezes property, stealing is exactly what they are doing and Christians should be standing against this and speaking up to end all unjust and unGodly laws.

My love, blessings, and gratitude to all.
