Getting Through it All

My son is at a funeral for a dear friend of his that died last weekend on Easter weekend. It is such a tragedy when a young person dies. He told me that she knew the Lord and was saved. I pray she did.  I can’t imagine losing a child, but to lose both of your daughters at the same time, I don’t even want to think about it.  I pray for strength for their parents, but especially the mother.

It is so hard watching your child go through something you can’t really help them do. I have been here for him, listened to him, and prayed over him. He has to go through his emotions, the pain, but he doesn’t have to do it alone.

None of us have to be alone through anything. Our heavenly Father is always with us. I know my son has God’s arms wrapped around him. He will embrace his heart and touch his soul. We are never alone in our pain, frustrations and everything we go through every minute of our lives.
We have to believe and trust in our loving Savior. He loves us and only wants to be with us. He is our hope.

I will continue to pray for my son and his friends, continue to be here for him and continue to praise my Heavenly Father through it all.

Have a blessed day and much love people.

I too have a family friend who lost both children and I don’t understand how she keeps going but I know they are right there watching over her along with the lord. God bless. Kimberly xo
