She Does

She closes her eyes, begins to cry,
asking, ‘Why?’, she no longer dreams to try.
She no longer screams out of fear,
she no longer speaks, ‘mother dear.’
Oh, why? She’s lost in the loneliness, the darkness of tears.
They abuse them, and torment them, rape them and leave them for dead.
Oh, why? Where is our courage? That madness that shouts-no more, no more, NO MORE!

I enjoy reading amazing books, hiking, hugs, instrumental music, heart to heart conversations, and life.

Maria, This poem so reminds me of Sodom and Gomorrah. At it reminds me of today’s horrors: human trafficking, child abuse, payment for brides, and many things I am not aware of. It brings tears to my eyes. Yes, I truly believe we are living in the “end of times” and may see Jesus come any time.

Everyone needs to get ready, because it’s going to be a duzy! I wonder, will I, who is a Christian, uncertain about my faith at times, be worthy to make to Heaven. Many times I think not. I pray I’m wrong.
