As we enter into Holy Week, I can’t help but think about what was happening in the time Jesus was going into Jerusalem. What thoughts He must have had. I can only imagine in my heart what it was like. My heart breaks knowing what is to come, but I also rejoice in the fact that I am forgiven.
When Jesus started this week knowing what was to come He knew what needed to happen and even though He would die on the cross, we were on His mind. He loves us so much that He took our place. There’s not much I can say that hasn’t been said, but I feel that someone needs to see this.
Jesus knew that He would sacrifice Himself for those of us that believe in Him. How amazing is that? God thinks we are worth it. He calls us His children, His beloved. Do you know Him? Personally? I pray that you do. If not, it only takes a few minutes to ask God into your heart and for forgiveness of your sins. Having a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior is life changing.
A relationship with God is so much more than any religion can be, life is sweeter too. Ask God into your life if you haven’t already. Change your life.
John 3:16, ” For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” NIV
Mark 16:16, “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” NIV
Give some thought to where you will spend eternity this week. Easter Sunday is coming, such a sweet day, a day of remembrance, a day of salvation!
Have a blessed Holy Week my friends!
Much love and many prayers!
