The sun seems to rise earlier now,

And the nights they run late.

I can’t remember a time,

I was more tired than today.

Oh but it’s worth it,

Every second, it’s true.

There isn’t anything,

I wouldn’t give up for you.

When teething hurts your body,

When your tummy just feels off,

I will hold and rock you,

Kiss your head so soft.

I will sing to you sweetly,

And slightly off-key,

Baby girl I promise,

There is no life I’d rather lead.
