True Love Haunting

His silence so painful, now consumes my brain

Reminiscing about passionate love-making as my body continues to scream his name.

Disbelief and shock still remains fresh

Visions appear as he is about to undress

Golden skin so sinfully sweet

His touch so erotic, it’s felt in my feet.

Missing him now like never before

Longing to hear his voice even so much more

Each minute turns to hours, hours to days

Wickedly ripping out my heart either way

A love that is constant and never fades

His love however was never more than a game of charades.

A facade love affair with a man only true to himself.

A love that lingers to haunt the only one that was true and that one is myself.
