Break Free – Note to Self

We grow up with parental guidance, beliefs, societal constraints, and boundaries. Our minds are programmed by all external factors before they even completely develop. At a certain stage in our lives, we don’t have control over this. As we grow up, the majority give in to these norms and live by them for the rest of their lives, and others don’t; they rebel from an early stage.

However, for us to grow and expand our productivity, we need to get rid of the hindering beliefs. They might be negative personal beliefs, societal judgements, or mental blocks that stop us from developing. Since we are different from our parents and raised in a different generation, we need different set of skills and programs to up rise. We need to Break Free from all what’s dragging us down. It’s totally fine to question these norms, criticize the society, and set our own rules that suit our transformation. It’s our lives and we need to shape it the way we feel comfortable.

We owe it to ourselves… it’s only one life we live!
