(This is for all those who before in time deemed you as less but never quite knew that what they spoke against is what they’d actually bleed for once they got a taste of your silent pride)

He said he’d loved you ever since,
He said it,
He said what he’d never say before.
He said it in shreds of secretion,
He said it,
He said what he’d damned as never.
He said it to the object of his thirst,
He said it,
He said what he’d fearfully felt.
So with an open mind,
So with a closed heart,
It was received.
So with an open confession,
So with a silent pride,
He was rejected.
