Nurture the nature

Alike human beings, God has also created the nature. The beautiful flora and fauna, the robust sea, the vast sky, the mighty mountains, the reverent rivers, the sun and the moon, are all the creations of God. From ages these wonderful creations are providing us abundant food, water, air and lots of other useful & essential things;without us having to spend a penny on them.

If we comprehend, it is the sunshine which is responsible for life on this planet. As soon as the sun shines, life begins;the birds start to chirp, the plants blossom and human beings too start their day.It is due to the sun that the plantation grows and we get our food products. It is because of the sunshine that the snow on the mountains melts and lead to flowing rivers, which provides us abundant water. It is a proven fact that even the moonlight plays an important role for the growth of plants. The different varieties of flora and fauna spread beauty in the environment and also help in making many beneficial medicines because of the various medicinal qualities they possess.

Thus, each of God’s creation is for the benefit of the mankind. But what is the mankind doing in return? Is he protecting God’s abundance? The answer is a big NO.Human beings are supposedly the guardians of the nature; it is their duty to nurture it and make sure that it is not misused, but I don’t think we are fulfilling this role and are true to our responsibility.

We are grossly misusing all the natural resources that God has showered on us. We are rampantly cutting the trees  for our own wishful needs, depleting the green covers of our once naturally rich mountains. We are even cutting the mountains to make way for rampant construction. We are reclaiming land from the sea, decreasing its areas. We are polluting our rivers;choking them with the filth of our waste and thus taking away their pious character. We are polluting the environment  with poisonous gases that are emitted by excessive use of vehicles and other electronic gadgets.

What we fail to understand is, that it is because of all this that we are forced to suffer the brunt of nature in the form of earthquakes, floods, heavy rains, droughts, cyclones, volcanoes and other natural calamities. It is thus us and not God who is responsible for all these unfortunate incidences and we have no right to blame HIM for anything happening around us.

My heart goes for all the those who are affected by these calamities. It is truly unfortunate that in fraction of seconds people loose all that they have accumulated in years and have protected for long;whether it is their loved ones or belongings. And we should never forget that the similar things could  happen to us as well.

It is thus of utmost importance that we nurture this treasured nature and stop misusing it for our selfish motives. We must learn to be in a state of contentment and be happy in what we possess and should not be greedy in order to harm the mother nature because of our obsessions.

We should try and give as much as we receive from nature,so that the  we are able to make it happy and get its blessings. In real life, when we show little  affection to our mother we receive abundant love in return, similarly if we show little affection to the mother nature it will surely return the love manifolds.

Hence, if we want to see our future generations enjoying the priceless abundance of nature, we must nurture and protect it to the fullest ,so that it blossoms and flourishes ,giving us  happiness in return.
