Of the Land and the Seas

They set sail on the high seas

Night and day, day and night

under the relentless skies.

They searched for the shore

even when there were none.

In the end, their grave was the ocean

their embrace, their coffin.

Yet it was with a smile that they died.

For they were accepted by the seas

When none let them be on the lands.
