Forbidden fruit

Is it so wrong
To want a man
When he clearly
Wants me?
He is not mine to have
I know that
But in the end
So what?
I don’t want
To keep him
I just want
To set him free
From a loveless life
That is his misery
If only for one taste
If only for one kiss
Let the magic of that
Reawaken his bliss
He is not mine to hold
He is not mine to keep
But the thought of
Forbidden fruit
Tastes so deliciously sweet

Hey there, I have been writing for over 30 years, and have now decided to share my thoughts with the world, rather than keep them to myself. I hope you enjoy my words! Sx
