The World Cries

Cloudy and gloomy are the skies,
As if they hear the wounded world’s cries.
There is sorrow filled in the air,
Nothing that’s happening sounds to be fair.
Childhood has been lost to terrorism,
Jobs are been lost to robots and nepotism.
The greedy get wealthier and covetous,
As the poor are forced to wait for  the charitable and the magnanimous.
It pours where the lands are not barren,
While the wastelands get nothing but the mean sun.
Crooked are the ways of the God indeed,
Is it his way to show how, from the world, he would secede.
Cloudy and gloomy are the skies,
As if they hear the wounded world’s cries.
