In and out of time
We build intricate watches
Is it short or long?

How can we measure
the length of a memory?
We have our own scales

We stack memories
Should we favor the good ones?
Letting bad ones slide

What makes us happy?
Choosing memories we should keep?
Letting others die?

Love being human?
Even bad times make us live
What else can we do?

Take every day
Elevate every breath
Open your eyes wide

See the miracle?
Understand how rare you are?
Contemplate a stone

God’s bias is life
Despite stalls and obstacles
Life fights to survive

It is about love
Time expresses how much we give
to everyone else

Thank you Ann;)

Acknowledgement is often in short supply, and I appreciate you.

(I have learned to take “brilliant” in context. Some have used it in a sly, British, slang sense, ala Monty Python.)
